Primary Elements

To rise above yet another creative rut is all I long for. I believe as we all endure any period of discouragement, it's important to reiterate our own idea that brings forth a simpler method to our creative process. Whether that's photographing primary elements such as line-play, texture, shape, etc. or painting in an old style you may have developed in the beginning of your artistic path, it's vital to revisit these areas of familiarity. For the past few months, that has been my main focus on how to approach my environment with a camera in hand. Here is some of the work associated with that. A few are in my new zine "STUDIES" and others are not.
